New Projects Lined Up (Yay!)

For months, I've been trying to decide on some non-hentai projects to work on solo. I finally came up with three.


My first project will be Muv-Luv Unlimited by Âge and Tomo Hirokawa. This is a 4-volume sequel or spin-off of Muv-Luv. I'm concurrently working on this along with a couple of hentai projects. I'm so stoked (or prodded? ) to work on this one, that I already cleaned up the book jacket ahead of time! (See image)

I also look forward working on Nocturne by Shinsuke Kurihashi. I only have volume 1, so far; I have to see if I can find or purchase the other volumes from somewhere.

My third project of consideration is Cupid by Taku Kitazaki.

Although these are considered "general comics", all three do contain some nudity. If there were ratings to be given out, Muv-Luv and Nocturne would probably be PG-13; and Cupid would be R, due to mature content.

...But what about Kamichu?!?

After my 2nd draft of Kamichu! failed Dynasty Scans' litmus test (I had the right fonts, but they didn't like my method of resizing it... the heck?!? LOL!), I've actually have become less enthusiastic about working on it. That's not the entire reason. A heavy work schedule and an unexpected visit by relatives also kept me busy last month as well. But tie that in with low enthusiasm, not to mention my solo hentai and non-hentai projects that I have lined up, then of course nothing with Kamichu! will get done. I've dropped in on Dynasty's forum now and then, but never really bothered to check in with them or give them a status update... How terrible of me! So, it's obviously not them, but me. Like I said, low enthusiasm.

In any event, I view this as a good experience! If I work with anybody else (present company excluded), I have a better idea of what things to ask for before applying or accepting. It was my intention to finish Kamichu and bow out of Dynasty's roster, but I think by now they may have a new editor lined up; so... C'est la vie.

In closing, I actually started editing the final chapter of Kamichu, and I already know I'll end up changing the dialog here and there. If and when Dynasty finally releases their version with new editor in tow, I'll probably have a limited release of my version on ABPManga just for fun. I already have editing ideas that I know they would never dream of doing! If anybody out there wants to see Chapter 18 & 19 beforehand, lemme know. "Summer Vacation" by Momoya Show Neko

Finally, a non-hentai project done! Without the fuss! And in time for SUMMER!!

Momoya Show Neko is actually widely known in adult doujin circles. This happens to be her one (at least I think it's the only one) non-hentai story. It's romantic stuff, so if you're looking for wild action, this isn't for you. But if you enjoy great art along with an interesting take on some favorite game/anime characters, I hope you'll enjoy this one!

I'm trying something different here by posting this announcement first. As usual, I'm posting to ABPEA (and this time ABPM as well) first... it's my original hangout after all. After that, I'll hopefully have a torrent link up tonight, and then a file share link up tomorrow... so please be patient.
